Celebrities for Stem Cell Research is committed to funding research of all types of stem cell therapy. Funding of certain types of research is limited scientists believe these are the most
promising. Support this effort to raise funds so others may have a cure one day. It is our promise that all profits, after operating costs, will be given as grants to those researchers who have proven to be making strides in stem cell research.
Why?
There has been so much controversy about stem cell research and the possibility it may hold the key to so many afflictions and their cures. What better way to reach the general public to allow them to put their money to good use and to voice their support on this subject. We as a people have lost so many and will continue to loose those who have contributed to our lives directly or indirectly unless we get off our feet. What better way for
Celebrities to show their support by donating their images to be reproduced on marble, displayed and offered to those who make sizable donations.
My name is Anthony M. Salas and I am one of the lucky ones who took a chance with stem cell research and won. Yes, I was helped by stem cells. I was considered one of the sickest persons my doctor ever met. Every conventional treatment failed. I had 33 stents implanted and a triple by-pass and everything is now blocked except two of the stents. I suffered every day with extreme chest pain. My heart was injected with stem cells and because of this, new
blood vessels have grown allowing for a positive flow of blood to my heart.
I have been given a new life because of stem cell research. I am positive what scientists theorized did happen and can happen for others who for whatever reason have fallen ill.
Can you imagine that one day a child is born with an abnormality and by injecting a compound of stem cells in the right place their genetic blueprint can be repaired? Stem cell research is the key in making this dream come true.
